Our pastor is preaching a series from Ecclesiastes right now, and I couldn't help but think of this verse when contemplating another of my Christmas gifts, because they're back in fashion again after a hiatus of 20-plus years .
Yes, my mom got me legwarmers. They're not quite as festive as these -- they're a sensible gray with two buttons at the ankle -- but I am wearing them... under my slacks.
Circulation in my lower extremities is not all that great, considering I don't move much, so when the weather gets cold, my legs pretty much stay cold, too. We thought using the leg warmers over my braces but under my slacks would help me stay warmer in our converted warehouse office space.
Guess what? So far, it's working!

I'm sooo slow. I can't believe leg warmers are back! What next? Well, knowing me, I will start wearing leg warmers just as they are going out of fashion. Once again, I am sooo slow! Glad you found a trick to keeping warm! I just found one too. My face was very cold after church on day so much so it hurt. I finally realized how that fashionable looking scarf could help. Sooo slow! (In FL those high boots and scarfs are for looks.) love ya!
